A woman has been charged with three counts of murder and arson over a horrific house fire in Queensland which killed a mother and two boys.

Jordana Johnson, 36, died along with her son Jordan Norris, 12, and his friend Chazz Mather, also 12, following the blaze at a home in Gladstone last week.

Two crime scenes were set up as part of investigations – one at the scene of the fire on Whiting Street at Toolooa and another on nearby Trevally Street.

Queensland Police on Friday confirmed a 37-year-old Toolooa woman had been charged with three counts of murder, and two counts of arson over the incident.

She is expected to face court on Friday.

Police and emergency services were called to the fire about 5.55am on October 15.
