NORTH AUGUSTA, SC. (WRDW/WAGT) - Local businesses are preparing for one of their busiest weekends of the year as the Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee returns Friday and Saturday.
The city expects close to 60,000 people over the two-day Halloween festival. Matthew West and Blues Traveler headline the concerts while rides, craft vendors and food are available to those walking through.
At The Pink Dipper, employee Presleigh Tice serves fall flavors like apple pie and oatmeal cream pie, though the ice cream shop typically peaks during summer months.
“That’s like the Pink Dipper prime. We just get a lot of customers during the summer and it’s always popping,” Tice said. “It’s one of our busiest nights of the year.”
