A South Coast woman who stole almost $50,000 from a safe in the Postman's Tavern only three months after being released from jail has pleaded guilty to break and enter.
Forty-two-year-old Jade Maree Nykolyn appeared before Nowra District Court via audiovisual link on Friday, October 24.
According to court documents, on February 29, security cameras at the Postman's Tavern captured the bar manager walking to the upper level of the pub, where she collected tills and cassettes for the poker machines, and padlocked the door behind her.
Defence lawyer Rachel Winter told the court that Nykolyn was in the pokies room at the Postman's Tavern before walking upstairs and forcing open the door to the office.
"The safes were unlocked, and she's taken what is a substantial amount of money," Ms Wint
