HONOLULU (Island News) -- The 20-inch water main break on Dole Street in the area of the University of Hawaii at Manoa was completely repaired on Thursday.
Board of Water Supply (BWS) crews worked over the past two days to repair the water main break that occurred on Tuesday afternoon. The 20-inch break was on Dole Street in front of Kanewai Community Park by the UH Manoa.
Water service has been fully restored to those who live in areas from Punchbowl to Kaimuki. Area reservoirs are also almost at normal levels.
Previous road closures including one on Dole Street between Kanewai Community Park and Frank Street, have been lifted.
