CCTV has emerged of the moment a Melbourne father chased two teenage home invaders down his street in his underwear.

Finance executive Grant Brown was asleep in his Hawthorn home on Kinkora Rd about 3am when he woke to find two boys inside his house.

With his four teenage children asleep upstairs, instinct kicked he immediately began yelling at the intruders.

“I just started yelling at them and then they took off and I chased them out the back and down the street and managed to get hold of one of them,” he said.

“He was trying to leg it over someone’s fence and so I just pulled him back down and held on to him.”
