WINONA, Minn. – A southeast Minnesota woman is dead after a car/semi collision Thursday afternoon.

The Minnesota State Patrol says a 2016 Toyota Prius was eastbound on Brookview Drive while a 2006 Peterbilt semi was heading north on Highway 43. The two vehicles crashed around 2:12 pm.

The driver of the Prius, Ruth Ann Brockert Marshall, 88 of Winona, was killed in the collision. The semi driver, Jeffery Allen Warner, 40 of Tomah, Wisconsin, was not hurt.

The Winona County Sheriff’s Office, Winona Fire, Winona Health, and Winona Area Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
