Savannah Mayor Van Johnson joined St. Joseph's/Candler President and CEO Paul Hinchey, WSAV anchor Tina Tyus-Shaw, and Alderman Nick Palumbo to ceremonially press the switch and illuminate Savannah City Hall with a pink glow. The new LED lighting burnished the historic building with a rose hue as the sun set Thursday evening.

St. Joseph’s/Candler’s Paint the Town Pink is an annual fundraiser held for the Telfair Mammography Fund. The fund was created with assistance from the Zonta Club in 2005 to help provide no-cost breast health services to uninsured and underinsured individuals. Those services include screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasounds, MRI and more.
