HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- A man is facing charges after allegedly firing a gun during a road rage incident in Hartford, according to police.

Authorities were dispatched around 8:39 p.m. Thursday to the area of Park Street at Washington Street on a report of a road rage incident that resulted in shots being fired, police said.

Officers at the scene found gunfire damage to the person's vehicle.

Police said they located 30-year-old Lorenzo Dunn, along with the vehicle, and he was taken into custody. Authorities said they located a firearm and narcotics in the vehicle as well.

It was later learned that Dunn had an active arrest warrant for assault with a firearm from earlier in the year, police said. He was taken to Hartford Detention Facility for processing.
