Police have arrested a man who is accused of shooting a car during a road rage incident in Hartford on Thursday night.

Officers responded to the area of Park Street and Washington Street around 8:39 p.m. to investigate a report of gunshots during a road rage incident and found gunfire had damaged the victim’s car, police said.

Police broadcast a description of the other vehicle and members of the Hartford Police Violent Crimes Unit and Greater Hartford Regional Auto Theft Task Force took the suspect,a 30-year-old Hartford man, into custody.

Police said there was an arrest warrant charging the suspect with assault with a firearm and they found a gun and drugs in the vehicle.
