With a strong cold front expected to bring rain and thunderstorms to Central Texas on Friday and Saturday, several high school football games are being moved up or rescheduled to ensure player and fan safety.
According to district officials, at least seven games originally scheduled for Friday, Oct. 24, have been moved to Thursday, Oct. 23, including:
Crawford at Moody, 7:30 p.m.
Marlin vs. Riesel, 7:30 p.m.
Mexia vs. Whitney, 7 p.m.
Bruceville-Eddy vs. Rosebud-Lott, 7:30 p.m.
Robinson at La Vega, 7 p.m.
Troy vs. Little River Academy, 7:30 p.m.
Frost vs. Hubbard, 7 p.m.
Other districts are keeping their Friday games on schedule but adjusting kickoff times to avoid severe weather.

Lorena vs. Connally, 6 p.m.
University vs. Waco, 6 p.m.
