Cape Hatteras Secondary School invites the community to its Annual Veterans Celebration on Friday, November 7, 2025. All local veterans, active-duty service members, and their families are welcome to join this special day of gratitude and remembrance. The event starts at 9:00 AM with a complimentary breakfast in the CHSS cafeteria, prepared by the Foods and Nutrition classes.

At 10:00 AM, veterans will be honored by students, faculty, the school band, a guest speaker, and community members. The names of recently deceased area veterans will be read and the CHSS graduates that are currently serving in the Armed Forc
