The Edmonton Oilers will honour Adam Henrique and his 1,000 games played in the National Hockey League with a special, pre-game ceremony on October 30 when the Oilers host the New York Rangers.

Henrique is in his 16th NHL season and reached the 1,000-game mark on October 21 when the Oilers were visiting the Ottawa Senators. Henrique is the 409th player to hit the milestone.

Adam was acquired by the Oilers ahead of the 2024 trade deadline and has become a key player to the Oilers’ deep playoff runs providing leadership and professionalism on and off the ice.

Henrique was selected 82nd overall by the New Jersey Devils in the 2008 NHL draft, and has since suited up for the Devils, Ducks and Oilers, scoring 277 goals and 283 assists for a total of 560 points.
