The Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team (ALERT) has charged two people following an investigation dating back to May into a suspected fentanyl production facility located near the hamlet of Goodfare, approximately 60 kilometres northwest of Grande Prairie.
ALERT, with help from Beaverlodge RCMP and Grande Prairie Police Service executed a search warrant near the hamlet and seized a firearm, two prohibited magazines, various ammunitions, 188 grams of fentanyl, 10 grams of methamphetamine, contraband tobacco products and approximately $15,000 in stolen property and suspected proceeds of crime.
41-year-old Codi McCreesh and 41-year-old Jamie Lee Ozechowski have been charged with a total of 16 offences related to drugs and firearms. Both suspects are in custody and are scheduled to appear
