HONOLULU (Island News) -- Breezy winds and dry weather lead to an elevated fire risk through Saturday evening.
Tonight, cloudy skies are forecast with lows in the middle 70s. Passing trade wind showers will also appear and expect rains to increase late night.
For Aloha Friday, there will be breezy trade winds and partly cloudy skies. Expect passing showers to appear mainly during the morning hours. The greatest chance of rain will be for windward and mauka spots. Drier air will be felt in the afternoon. East winds will be at 15 to 25 mph with higher gusts.
A Red Flag Warning is in effect on Friday and Saturday as winds increase to 20 to 30 mph. These windy conditions will combine with dry air allowing any fires that develop to spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended during
