FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A FREEZE WARNING is in effect for all of Northern Indiana and Northwest Ohio, though many areas south and west of Fort Wayne (including the Fort!) dipped below freezing already. Lows will range from the upper 20s to low 30s, marking the end of the growing season for most.

Saturday and Sunday will be a beautiful, crisp pair of late-October days with highs in the upper 50s. Temperatures will gradually cool back into the low 50s by the middle of next week and likely stay through Friday, Halloween. Rain chances look quite low as well.

A peek into the long range shows a potentially cold first week or two of November (upper 30s to mid 40s for highs), though that’s not a trend that is set in stone! Stay tuned...
