SPEARMAN, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The city of Spearman released a statement following the change in personnel at the Spearman Volunteer Fire Department.

City officials said they are aware of recent developments with the fire department and wanted residents to know that fire protection and emergency response services remain fully operational.

City officials said volunteers and neighboring departments are on standby to assist when needed. The city added that it will not offer specific details publicly as it involves a personal matter.
