RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Bumper to bumper traffic moved slowly around the North Carolina State Fairgrounds and the Lenovo center Friday evening.

Life long fairgoers, like Angela Wray-Albury said this years traffic has been the worst in the past 20 years.

"It's going to be grid lock at some point, I can't imagine," Wray-Albury said.

NBA Young Boy played a sold-out show at the Lenovo Center Friday, bringing 20,000 people to the area on top of fair attendance.

Some said this traffic is nothing compared to the Chris Brown traffic at Carter Finely Stadium two weeks ago.

"Night and day difference, shout out to the state troopers for making sure we got in swiftly," fairgoer, Jazmine Evans said.
