FARMVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - Play was interrupted Friday night at the Farmville Central and Greene Central football game in Farmville due to what is being called multiple altercations breaking out.

Tom McClellan with Pitt County Schools says out of an abundance of caution, a decision was made to clear the stadium to de-escalate the situation. He also said, to his current knowledge, weapons were not mentioned and it is undetermined at this point who was involved or if there were any injuries.
