The National Weather Service issued a frost advisory at 1:48 a.m. on Saturday valid from 11 p.m. until Sunday 9 a.m. for Westchester County.
The weather service says to expect, "Temperatures as low as 33 degrees will result in frost formation."
"Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered," explains the weather service. "Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold."
