CEDAR HILL, Texas — Cedar Hill ISD is working with police to investigate allegations involving former students and two of the district's band directors, according to a letter from Cedar Hill High School's principal sent to parents that was obtained by WFAA Oct. 25.
The letter stated that there are no allegations involving current students. According to the letter, the two employees were initially placed on leave pending the result of the police investigation. The district then confirmed to WFAA Nov. 4 that the two employees referenced were "no longer employed by Cedar Hill ISD."
"Federal privacy laws prevent us from discussing specifics about personnel matters, but CHISD will continue cooperating fully with all authorities," a Cedar Hill ISD spokesperson said in a statement Nov. 4.
