KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — A Kaufman County constable was released from the hospital after being injured while attempting to break up a teen fight, officials say
According to officials, the officer responded yesterday afternoon to a large group of teens fighting near Falcon Express. When deputies arrived they saw two juvenile females fighting, according to a statement.
While the constable was detaining one of the females, he was attacked from behind by two other juveniles on sight, according to the constable's office. The constable was transported to the hospital, where he was later released, with a sprained arm and wrist, officials said.
