The devastated family of a "beautiful" university graduate discovered murdered at a residence have paid heartfelt tribute to their "bright young star".

Stephanie Irons' body, aged 23, was found at a property on Westdale Lane West, Mapperley, Nottinghamshire, at 10.07pm on Tuesday (21/10).

A 40 year old man has been detained on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody undergoing questioning by detectives.

Yesterday (Thursday) a 40 year old woman was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and also remains in custody.

The family of Stephanie – who was known as Steph – have now paid tribute to the aspiring psychologist in a statement issued through police today (Friday).
