EVERETT, Mass. —

Investigators are working to figure out what happened after a crane collapsed in Everett , Massachusetts, on Friday, killing two subcontractors.

Divers were on site Saturday morning, sifting through the wreckage.

Two workers, who have yet to be identified, were tragically killed when the crane collapsed on the docks at the former Exxon terminal on the Mystic River.

The site, not far from the Encore Casino or the site of the proposed professional soccer stadium, is being cleaned up to prepare for redevelopment.

Crews were performing demolition on obsolete equipment at the marine dock terminal when the collapse occurred.
