KINGSTON, N.Y. — The MyKingstonKids Halloween parade brought a spooky atmosphere to city streets on Saturday afternoon.
Kicking off on Broadway at 2 p.m., the parade snaked its way through Midtown and Uptown before ending at Kingston Plaza, where the Kingston non-profit hosted a festival.
As the parade made its way down Albany Avenue on Saturday afternoon, dozens of participants were seen in festive costumes. Some threw candy into the street to onlookers.
Some local organizations and businesses took part as well, including the Ulster County SPCA, Keegan Ales, and the Resource Center for Accessible Living. Ulster County Executive Jen Metzger joined the fun dressed as a county’s viral “I Voted” sticker from 2022 .
