MONROE COUNTY, Ind. — An Oaktown man was arrested on Saturday following a traffic stop that led to eight different charges.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, around 1:17 a.m., police made a traffic stop on a 2005 Red Ford F250 that appeared to be stolen from Sullivan County.

The driver, 24-year-oldDawson Kelm, was arrested for multiple charges after police found a firearm on him.

While he was being detained, a search of the vehicle was performed by K-9 Figo and his handler.

Figo's search led to several narcotics being found, including Fentanyl pills, Alprazolam Pills, Acetaminophen and Hydrochloride Pills, Methamphetamine, Cocaine, and another firearm. • Photos provided by MCSO. • K-9 Figo, photo provided by MCSO.
