GLASTONBURY, Conn. — Glastonbury police believe that someone tried to steal the ATM at Nutmeg State Financial Credit Union early Saturday morning.

The department issued a release Saturday afternoon reporting that around 4:20 a.m., officers responded to the credit union at 81 House St. after an alarm there was activated.

When officers arrived, they discovered that the ATM was damaged. It appeared that someone had attempted unsuccessfully to remove it.

Now, Glastonbury police have requested the public’s help in identifying who may be responsible. The department is seeking any video footage that may aid its active investigation.

That footage could include surveillance or personal video recordings that may have captured the suspect – or suspects – or any related activity.
