CANTON, Ohio — Deontay Malone’s electric 51-yard punt return touchdown broke a tie game and lifted Massillon to a 21-14 victory over Canton McKinley, extending the Tigers’ winning streak in the historic rivalry to 10 consecutive years.
With the score knotted at 14-all, Malone fielded a McKinley punt, eluded a would-be tackler and raced down the Massillon sideline. After cutting inside near the 20-yard line, he high-stepped into the end zone for what proved to be the game-winning score.
