To see tickets still available on Saturday morning for this weekend’s two big Canucks games was pretty shocking. Even in this leaner decade, when sellouts have been on the decline, there were still games that you just knew the building would be bursting at the seams.
The Leafs were always a guaranteed sellout. So were the Habs and the Oilers.
And, yet, here we were, looking at a Saturday afternoon game against Les Glorieux and a Sunday night game against Connor McJesus, and there were still tickets available to both with just an hour to go before faceoff on Saturday.
