SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. - A free program aimed at saving teen lives on the road is in Spartanburg County this weekend.
The non-profit "Be Responsible and Keep Everyone Safe,” also known as B.R.A.K.E.S., is in Spartanburg for the first time with the goal of getting teens ready to drive.
"We're a nonprofit charity that was started by a professional drag racer who lost both his boys in a horrible car crash. After that incident, Doug wanted to provide some extra training to young teen drivers who have got to a point where they've got their permit or their driver's license," said Matt Reilly, Senior Instructor for B.R.A.K.E.S..
