EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - For the fourth straight season, Michigan's football team is celebrating a win over rival Michigan State.

The Wolverines took down the Spartans, 31-20, in East Lansing Saturday night. The win improves Michigan to 6-2 and drops Michigan State to 3-5, with five straight losses.

Justice Haynes rushed for 152 yards and two touchdowns in the victory and Jordan Marshall added 110 rushing yards and one touchdown.

Michigan State running back Makhi Frazier ran for 109 yards and quarterback Aidan Chiles threw for 130 yards.

Michigan State's offense struggled for much of the game, especially in the first quarter when the Spartans recorded zero first downs and had 11 total yards on their first three drives.
