It’s hard to believe it’s been two weeks since the wedding and that our honeymoon trip to Italy is now over.

What started out as a super busy time for Oscar and me transitioned into a relaxing and educational trip to nearly a dozen different towns in Italy. Thanks to Oscar’s driving skills in foreign countries, we easily navigated up and down the country in 13 days.

We started in Rome and Vatican City where we saw all the main attractions like the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon, but perhaps the most mesmerizing sight was being five steps away from Pope Leo after attending Mass.

We made our way to the front, and were right there as the Pope and his team left the altar. What a moving and meaningful way to start our life together.
