Dozens turn out in their best costumes for the Rylan J. Schopen Monster Bash Memorial event Saturday.
KETV first brought you the Schopen family's story on Wednesday. Their daughter and sister, 5-year-old Rylan Schopen, died suddenly after a suspected massive seizure in 2015. Now, 10 years later, the family is working to honor her memory while still giving back to the community.
From live music to trunk-or-treating, everyone in attendance Saturday came dressed in their best costume.
All of the festive fun was for a large cause.
Money raised Saturday is going toward Collective for Hope to help more children and families in the metro have access to grief counseling.
