EUGENE — With Dante Moore out after bleeding from a hit to the face, Oregon once again turned to Brock Thomas to take over at quarterback.
But unlike last week’s win at Rutgers, when the walk-on entered in the closing minute of a third quarter with a 56-3 lead, Thomas entered with the Ducks holding a 7-0 lead and in rain and wind that made for a dreary second half.
Thomas connected with Dakorien Moore for a 24-yard gain on third and 9 and Oregon scored on the next play. He later found offensive lineman Gernorris Wilson for a 1-yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter. The score helped No. 6 Oregon secure a 21-7 win over Wisconsin.
