A 56-year-old British holidaymaker has tragically died in the Canary Islands after a hotel railing 'gave way', causing him to fall nearly 20ft. ‌

Another tourist, aged 54, was seriously injured in the same incident at the Costa Teguise resort in Lanzarote . ‌
