A driver spotted was rolling a cannabis joint with no hands on the steering wheel as he drove on the M6 . The motorist, who has not been identified, was stopped and arrested after testing positive for cocaine and cannabis by officers in Birmingham.

His arrest was one of a number made by West Midlands Police's Road Crime Team (RCT), who have revealed that they have recovered almost 200 stolen cars and seized £11.9m worth of drugs since April of this year. The team operate across the region including Coventry and often use unmarked, high-performance cars to pursue and arrest suspects.
