MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (KFVS) - A Saturday night crash in western Kentucky sent two people to the hospital.
According to the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the area of Said Road and Greenfield Drive just before 9 p.m. on October 25 for a single-vehicle collision.
Deputies found that Alaina Dowell of Paducah was driving a passenger van on Said Road with passenger John Cureau, also of Paducah.
Dowell reportedly hydroplaned and left the road. The vehicle then came to rest against a tree on the passenger side, entrapping both people inside the vehicle.
The Reidland Farley Fire Department was able to get both Dowell and Cureau free, but they had to be taken to a local hospital for injuries.
