Weyburn's Kelly Linnell was the winner of the Weyburn Humane Society's third annual Ride for Paws, Support the Cause vehicle raffle fundraiser, and she picked up her new 2025 Jeep Compass North 4x4 from Weyburn Dodge on Friday.

Linnell served on the Weyburn Humane Society board for two years and handled their books for another two years.

She said she only bought one ticket this year.

"I think the first year when they did the Bronco, I probably bought three or four, but I limited myself to one now."

Linnell shared her reaction to her name being drawn by Mayor Jeff Richards.

"It was crazy. I happened to be watching the live video, and Jeff is my boss, so it was kind of like very ironic all around."
