A 49-year-old man who was the subject of an RCMP alert in August has been arrested.

In a release Thursday, RCMP announced that Cordell Daae was arrested by the Estevan RCMP detachment in Macoun on October 14th.

Daae was wanted on warrants by the Southey RCMP for multiple charges, including impaired operation of a motor vehicle, flight from police, and failure to appear in court.

Those charges were laid in connection with an investigation on July 9th, 2023.

Southey RCMP had initially asked for the public's help in locating Daae on August 18th. At the time, police noted he was known to travel frequently in southern Saskatchewan and had connections to the Beaubier area.

RCMP confirmed Daae appeared in Regina Provincial Court on October 20th.
