New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs finally scored his first touchdown of the season on Sunday in the team’s 32-13 win over the Cleveland Browns.

In the third quarter, quarterback Drake Maye found Diggs for a 1-yard touchdown to go up 22-7.

Head coach Mike Vrabel was thrilled as he watched his star receiver reach the end zone.

“Happy to be able to get him in the end zone,” Vrabel said on Sunday, via 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Alex Barth. “It was long overdue.”

Diggs didn’t have his best game against the Browns; aside from his touchdown, he caught only three passes for 14 yards. Even though Diggs wasn’t a primary factor, the Patriots still scored 32 points against one of the best defenses in the NFL.
