Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav on Monday extended wishes on Chhath Puja, highlighting the special place of the festival in the lives of common people.

Yadav said that he would pray for the well-being and prosperity of the state’s people on Chhath Puja.

“Chhath Puja holds a special place for us. Today, people will give ‘argya’ to the setting sun and tomorrow to the rising sun. I extend my wishes to the people of Bihar on this festival of Chhath. We will pray to Chhathi Maiya to bless the people of Bihar and for the state’s development,” Tejashwi Yadav told reporters.
