PHILADELPHIA — The Eagles pulled into their bye week Sunday with a 6-2 record and in control of the NFC East race after once again exerting their dominance with a 38-20 victory over the Giants at Lincoln Financial Field.
They’ve won 13 in a row over the Giants at the Linc.
More important, they looked more like the team that rolled its way through the playoffs last season on their way to a Super Bowl title than at any other point this season.
Fueled by the return of the running game , they put up a season-high 427 yards of offense without star receiver A.J. Brown in the lineup.
“Any time you rush for that many yards, it takes everybody,” Eagles coach Nick Sirianni said before listing just about everybody who contributed to the team’s best rushing performance of the season
