Crossing guard struck in Hartford hit

HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) - A crossing guard in Hartford was the victim of a hit-and-run, police said.

It happened on Monday morning on Blue Hills Avenue.

Police said the driver fled north.

The crossing guard was said to be alert and conscious.

No other details were released.
