NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- New red light and speed cameras are expected to be installed across the Elm City in support of traffic safety.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation's Office of the State Traffic Administration approved 15 Automated Traffic Enforcement Safety Device locations in New Haven earlier this month.

Red light cameras are planned for: • MLK Jr. Boulevard, N. Frontage Road at Church Street • College Street at George Street • Ella T. Grasso Boulevard at Derby Avenue • Quinnipiac Avenue at East Grand Avenue • Whalley Avenue at East Ramsdell Street/Ramsdell Street • Orange Street at Edwards Street • Ella T. Grasso Boulevard at Washington Avenue/Spring Street • Quinnipiac Avenue at Foxon Boulevard • Prospect Street at Highland Street • I-95 South O
