The fourth annual Pumpkin Lane alighted and delighted the city’s trail system last night. Pumpkins carved by the community lined a portion of the trails alongside local vendors, handing out candy and other merchandise to passing trick-or-treaters. Adults and children alike showcased their Halloween costumes and took in the creatively carved pumpkins, refuelling with hot dogs and hamburgers served by the Weyburn Community Service Co-operative.

Weyburn Tourism partnered with Prairie Sky Co-op to hold the event. They handed out treats alongside organizations like Weyburn Credit Union, WeyStrong, the R.M. of Weyburn, Southeast College, and more. Those who contributed a pumpkin are welcome to pick them up and take them home. Otherwise, they will be put to good use, as a local farmer will take
