ADDISON, Ill. (Gray News) - A lawsuit has been filed against an ice cream shop owner who is accused of secretly recording at least 11 underage employees in a bathroom.
Flavor Frenzy owner Steven Weisberg, 58, was charged with two counts of child pornography and two counts of unauthorized video recording in August. In September, a grand jury returned a superseding indictment charging Weisberg with 66 counts of Child Pornography and 32 counts of Unauthorized Video Recording.
On Wednesday, the 11 former employees, who were between the ages of 14 to 17 when they were employed at the ice cream shop, filed a lawsuit against Weisburg.
According to the lawsuit, Weisberg used the Flavor Frenzy to recruit, exploit and endanger teenage girls.
