OAK RIDGE, Tenn. — Oak Ridge High School's WildBand had a big weekend at the Foothills Classic in Seymour.
The marching band brought home four trophies, earning first place among 5A schools. They were also named "Reserve Grand Champion" among all 4A, 5A and 6A schools.
The percussion section and color guard also earned first place — all while performing their show "PLAYBILL: A Tribute to the Music of the Stage."
The 2025 show showcases Broadway hits from West Side Story to Wicked.
The Foothills Classic also posted about the win, congratulating Oak Ridge on its placement.
"Congratulations to our Class AAAAA First Place Band and Large Division Reserve Grand Champion, Oak Ridge High School!" the competition said.
