DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) said a suspect has been arrested after attempting to run away from deputies.

On Monday, DCSO said a deputy was on I-25 when he witnessed a red sedan speed past him, driving erratically, weaving through traffic and slamming on the brakes.

According to deputies, the driver appeared to be road raging at another vehicle in the left lane.

When the deputy got behind the suspect’s vehicle, DCSO said the suspect slammed on his brakes, almost causing a crash. The deputy then reportedly turned on the emergency lights, and the driver pulled over on the shoulder, jumped out of his car and ran away.
