COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said a juvenile suspect was taken into custody following a bomb threat at a Colorado Springs school on Monday.
CSPD said school staff at Explorer Elementary School in north Colorado Springs received a call reporting a bomb threat to the school just after 3 p.m.
Officers and a drone unit responded to the school to investigate the threat.
According to police, no explosive devices were located at the school.
During the investigation, police said a juvenile suspect was contacted and taken into custody in connection with the bomb threat.
According to police, the phone call is believed to have been a prank.
