COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL)-After several gray days, our stretch of cloudy skies isn’t quite done yet. The forecast keeps us socked into the clouds as our next weather system approaches, with a front sweeping through the region early Wednesday morning. Behind it, lingering wrap-around moisture will keep skies overcast through Thursday morning.
By Thursday afternoon, drier air begins to move in, setting the stage for a welcome change. Sunshine will make a comeback just in time for Halloween, though it comes with a chill. Overnight lows will dip into the upper 30s, and despite the sun, daytime highs will only climb into the upper 60s to near 70.
Expect crisp, cool air and bright skies for trick-or-treating — perfect fall weather after a gloomy start to the week.
