Dreary days have set in as we enter the last week of October. The weekend gloom can be expected to hang around today and Tuesday. The heavy clouds will keep temperatures in the upper 50s during the daytime and low 50s overnight.
Pockets of fog and patchy mist plague the Ozarks this morning. The fog will dissipate late in the morning, but the clouds aren't going anywhere. Periods of mist and drizzle will persist throughout the day today, and rain is expected to develop on Tuesday afternoon as a cold front and storm system approach from the west.
A cold front will push east across the Ozarks late on Tuesday. Behind the front, we'll find a stiff northwest wind and cooler temperatures. Tuesday night will be near 40°, and Wednesday afternoon may not get out of the 40s.
